2025 Past Shows

We stream our Saturday Morning Music events on YouTube so that anyone who can't make it in person can still see the show.  Our performers have the final say as to whether or not their performances are published here.  Below are this year's past shows.

Terry & Beck & John + Tilsmore 29th March 2025

‘Twice Dailey’ aka Becky & Terry are with us this Saturday morning along with ‘Tilsmore’ (Beverley & Jon Healy ) standing in for Geoff Yerrell who is on the bench with an injury this week but will be back with us later in the year. Two vocal guitar duos with different takes on great songs from the 60’s onwards from The Everly Brothers to Sade providing another excellent morning of musical entertainment.

Rich T + Derry Green 22nd March 2025

The amazing Tim Izzard and Richard Walder this Saturday morning. Popular local musicians come together in a guitar/tea-chest bass duo singing classic hits with plenty of humour thrown in.  In the second session we have the iconic Derry Green recreating hits from The Jam, The Who and The Undertones as well as some brilliant originals. Guitar, trumpet banjo and harmonica will all get an outing.

Nigel Wesson & Steve Nevill 15th March 2025

This Saturday morning sees the return of Nigel Wesson and Steve Nevill playing solos and duos. Accomplished folk musician Steve plays concertina and melodeon in addition to vocals and acoustic guitar. Popular singer-songwriter & guitarist, Nigel, learned his craft in the London folk clubs in 60s and 70s and will be playing folk and pop classics as well as some excellent originals.

The Other Band  8th March 2025

Our friends from Hastings, ‘The Other Band’ are back with us this Saturday morning. Rollicking repertoire of Americana, country, blues and R&B. Mandolin player/guitarist Julian Graff and singer/guitarist Lee Hill front the band with powerful vocals, harmonies and solos, backed by the driving rhythms of fretless bass player Laurie Bush.  A morning of great entertainment. The Twagger Band  1st March 2025

The brilliant musicianship of the Twagger Band with a delightful array of instruments, including concertinas, dulcimers, harp, bagpipes, fiddle, whistles, accordion, recorders, guitar, crumhorn and serpent. Derrick Hughes, Sue Evans, Ian Chisholm, Joy Lewis, Keith Phillips and Tom Evans assure us an excellent morning of entertainment.

Four Gone Confusion 22nd February 2025

Launching their new album ‘RUMMAGE,’ Four Gone Confusion will be on stage at the UGT this Saturday morning, John, Di, Pete and Brenda are stalwarts of the folk scene and regulars at Folk Festivals and clubs around the country. Great voices and musicianship, we are really looking forward to the show.

Songs For Jingles   15th February 2025

Songs for Jingles at the Under Ground Theatre' Unfortunately, due to a technical issue the first couple of minutes of the show were not recorded - see the announcement at the end of the video.

The A & M Band  15th February 2025

Valentine’s weekend brings the A & M Band back to the UGT this Saturday morning. Popular guitar/vocal duo Andy and Marilyn are joined by Pauline on percussion and Chrissie on bass with their blend of harmonies and instruments.  Expect many favourite tracks from the 60s and 70s as well as some of their originals to carry us through a splendid morning of music.

Take Cover + Seaford Sunshine Strummers 8th February 2025
Guitar/harmonica duo Steve (guitar & vocals) and Del (harmonica) play with more upbeat hits from the decades.  In the second session we have the fabulous ukulele band Seaford Sunshine Strummers playing recognisable favourites in their own superb style.

Kevin Barber & Eddie Armer  1st February 2025

Accomplished musician and superb vocalist/guitarist Kevin Barber is joined by Eddie Armer on harmonica playing folk, country blues and ballads in that fabulous Americana style.

Tilsmore + Will Taylor 25th January 2025
Popular acoustic guitar/vocal duo John and Beverly Healey with favourites from Pop and Americana embraced with John’s seemingly inexhaustible repertoire of jokes.  In the second session, guitarist singer/songwriter Will Taylor will be will be playing contemporary Pop and Country.

Terry & Becky + Guests   18th January 2025

Terry and Becky Dailey aka ‘Twice Dailey’ Guitar/vocal duo will be playing classic tracks from the last 60 years and will be joined on stage by guest performers. Only the second half here sadly, as we had camera issues today.

Stringles + Linus & Lucy 11th January 2025

Jon & Fran Rose in their group ‘Stringles’ with ever popular songs from the 60s & 70s followed by ‘Linus & Lucy’ aka Mark and Claire Taylor - acoustic guitar/bass vocal duo with a fabulous song selection from the same classic era.

Phillip Robbins 4th January 2025

Starting the New Year with Phillip Robbins, talented singer/guitarist/pianist. Phillip has a broad repertoire of popular songs from the last 50 years, including Stage, Pop and Folk including The Beatles, and Elton John.
