What do we do?

We provide the following:
*a 145-seater venue with
- stage lighting and sound system
- a digital projector, DVD player and screen
- 2 dressing rooms with toilets
*small-scale professional productions of Drama, Dance and Music which we book in
*an affordable venue for amateur groups and local societies to hire
*a programme of events that has something to appeal to all ages and interests
*an opportunity for local people to join in and express their own talents and abilities
*a 45-seater meeting room with 9 tables for hire
*a meeting place for local people and visitors with a common interest in the Performing and Visual Arts

Where are we? The Under Ground Theatre is the warm and intimate performance space situated beneath the Central Library, Grove Road, Eastbourne - (see map). (Parking nearby at the Enterprise Centre is available after 6pm for 50p all evening.) It is the home of Eastbourne Arts Centre, a charitable trust - (no 801303) - and is run entirely by enthusiastic and dedicated volunteers.
