Thorntree, the British rock ‘superband’ returns to the Under Ground Theatre once again to thrill another lucky Eastbourne crowd. With their flawless guitar playing and powerful, `energetic rock’ they have been described as a band that `unashamedly bashes their instruments for all they are worth.’
As session players the musicians share a wealth of experience and have individually played and recorded at venues such as Wembley Stadium, Manchester Arena & RAK. They are heavily influenced by the classic Led Zeppelin, Foo Fighters and Van Halen.
The Eastbourne based four-piece band of Martin Cooper (vocals), Neil Costello (guitars), Mikey Randon (drums) and Mark Prentice (bass) will be playing original material from their debut album Bullet Proof.
Their album was recorded at ICC Studios in Eastbourne and mastered by Geoff Pesche at London’s iconic Abbey Road studios. Their gig marks the opening of the Eastbourne festival.
Support will be announced closer to the time.
