Saturday 4th November 2017 at 8pm. Venue and bar open at 7.30pm.
With killer heels, killer curves and killer harmonies, this velvety vocal trio have been called to the musical front line to lift the spirits of Ladies and Gentlemen all over the world.
Combining bespoke big band arrangements, cute choreography, top to toe pin-up couture and stunning close-harmony vocals, described by Dame Vera Lynn as “perfect”, The Rockabellas serve up a perfectly nostalgic mix of toe tapping tunes from wartime songbirds and swing sensations right through to modern day pop which they have lovingly beaten into submission with their retro sticks!
Founded in 2009, The Rockabellas have certainly been there, done that and worn the pencil skirt! The group’s enviable credits extend to include Wembley’s FA Cup Final, Royal Ascot, the official Queen’sDiamond Jubilee Festival at Hyde Park, the Gatsby film launch at Tiffany’s of Bond Street and 5 consecutive years performing at the Battle Proms concerts around the UK. They have appeared on BBC TV performing alongside Tim Minchin, Ruth Jones, Michael Sheen and Dawn French and were featured in BBC TV’s ‘What a Performance!’ teaching presenters Suzi Klein and Frank Skinner the art of close harmony.
The Rockabellas are delighted to be returning to The Under Ground Theatre with their energetic show which invites you to embark on a musical journey through the bygone years and right out the other side!
The girls will be available for photos and autographs after the show as they take over the foyer for a meet and greet!
