The Moonbeans is a band that consists of strong female voice, background guitar, solo double-bass and drums. Performing mostly in the East Sussex area, as a duo on various fundraising events or as a three piece band on parties and weddings.

The repertoire is wide, they do covers from Dusty Springfield, Aretha Franklin, Amy Winehouse, Norah Jones, Joni Mitchell, The Beatles, The Carpenters, Brenda Lee and more…. Come along to hear ‘These Boots Are Made For Walking‘ in Czech!

Moonbeans band was founded at the south of the Czech republic in 2009. At the very start, there were three members: Stupka’s Sisters and a double bassist Tomas Siroky.

Sisters Ziza and Tereza have been playing together since their childhood. When the double-bassist Tomas joined the band they’ve started to call themselves The Moonbeans.

In 2013 tom and Ziza moved to England which parted the original band. Settled in Pevensey Bay in East Sussex, they continue playing as a duo. An amazing drummer Terry Mabey joined the band 1st June 2014 to make the sound of a duo complete and rounded and you can hear The Moonbeans as a full band now, gigging mostly over the South-East coast of England.
