Tales From The British Raj
Saturday 31st March. 2.00pm
Venue and Cafe open at 12.30pm
An entertaining, unusual and light-hearted view of the British Raj through the eyes of a Parsi lady of the Victorian era and how it contributed to the emancipation of women in India. Presented by local author Rukshana Master, this fully illustrated talk promises to show the Raj in a refreshingly different light.
Entry Is Free
As usual, the UGT coffee bar is open throughout the day from 10am to 4pm for Fairtrade refreshments – drinks and cakes – at some of the very best prices in town.
With regret, the venue has no wheelchair access.
