TODAYS FILM IS : FANTASIA (1940 Colour 103m U Cert).

Fantasia is a 1940 American animated film produced by Walt Disney and released by Walt Disney Productions.

With story direction by Joe Grant and Dick Huemer, and production supervision by Ben Sharpsteen, it is the third Disney animated feature film.

The film consists of eight animated segments set to pieces of classical music conducted by Leopold Stokowski, seven of which are performed by the Philadelphia Orchestra.

The film includes an interval, which will be presented as it would have been in its day and allow for patrons to enjoy tea, coffee and cakes, included in the ticket price.

The screening of this film here at the Under Ground Theatre will treat audiences to an extended stereo audio mix, with extra speakers being placed to the sides of the viewers – the best way to enjoy this lavish sensory experience to the full.

Tickets: £5.  Includes free refreshments.
