The Magic Numbers & Echo Zoo Studios present… … …

PENELOPE ISLES with support from The Fiction Aisle and The Equatorial Group.

“’Eastbourne has become a somewhat unlikely but integral anchor within the journey of The Magic Numbers as we’ve found a truly magical place to create music within the heart of Echo Zoo studios.

I’ve been working closely alongside owner/ producer Dave Lynch on various projects over the past 2 years and we thought that we should celebrate by putting together a few nights of live music.

On March 27th, 28th & 29th we will be Going Underground at Eastbourne’s Under Ground Theatre.”

Romeo Stodart, The Magic Numbers

  • Penelope Isles

Penelope Isles are beach pop rock melodic sounds from Brighton UK. A dynamic lustrous blend of lush harmonies, hypnotic textures tangled with a tangy pop zest and a hazy exuberance. Their collection of songs are the wide eyed optimism of youth with a knack for great pop hooks which smear with psych fuzz.

  • The Fiction Aisle

The latest in a long-line of projects from the mind of Electric Soft Parade’s frontman Thomas White, The Fiction Aisle bring together a fine assortment of Brighton’s best musicians to create a truly glorious sound. It’s epic, progressive pop of the highest level.

  • The Equatorial Group

Space country, folk rock, languid Americana – honest and heartfelt music, tinged with their love of countrified sonic landscapes.
