JOHN CAVE then R’N’R + R

Saturday 21st July 2018. 10am – 12 noon. Venue opens at 9.30am

Seaford’s purveyor of comic song then originals and popular hits. John, who runs the Seaford Folk Club, is known to many audiences for his interpretations of the wonderful songs of Jake Thackeray.  But his repertoire is much wider than that. He’ll also be singing some numbers by Richard Stilgoe, and others – as well as a range of parodies, some of them self penned.

R n’ R will be playing classic popular numbers blending the tones of Ron’s very expensive guitar collection and Richard’s ‘it fell of the back of a lorry’ tea-chest base. Some powerful vocals and intricate guitar coupled with stage-craft and charisma, we are guaranteed an evening of quality music interspaced with the inevitable humour.
