Saturday 12th August 2017. 10am – 12 noon. Free entry.
A welcome return to the UGT from some old favourites!
Greg Harper followed by George and the Georgettes.
Greg’s storytelling style reminds audiences of Jim Reeves and Bruce Springsteen amongst others. He also likes to portray local Sussex based historical events within several of his songs. To quote from his website ‘A songwriter whose lyrical prowess never fails to touch peoples hearts and emotions’.
After the break it’s a UGT debut for George and the Georgettes.
Performing together since 2016, George and the Georgettes bring you a mix of genres from Traditional Country ballads, songs we remember from our youth, the odd 60s classic and an occasional splash of Blues. They promise “A taste for all to enjoy”.
Believe it or not, entry is free to this morning of such a variety of quality music. So get there early!
Throughout their performance, Fairtrade coffee and tea and home-made cakes will be on sale in the Under Ground coffee-bar – which will stay open until 4pm for viewing of the latest foyer art exhibition.
Entry is free.
With regret, the venue has no wheelchair access.
A Hearing Loop is available on request.
