The Development of Eastbourne’s Devonshire Park

The award winning local architect and history enthusiast Richard Cook looks into the evolution of the town’s central park, from promenading to roller skating, cricket to tennis and paints detail of the wonders of the Winter Gardens and the Theatres, with an eye to the new £49 million Devonshire Quarter being developed there now.

As usual, the UGT coffee bar is open throughout the day from 10am to 4pm for Fairtrade refreshments – drinks and cakes – at some of the very best prices in town.
