Damien Clarke then Jazz Dukes


SATURDAY 14TH OCTOBER 201710am – noon.  Venue opens at 9.30am.

Come join us at the Under Ground Theatre for free live Saturday Morning Music – with a welcome return for one performer today, and a UGT debut for the other.

First on stage will be Damien Clarke, playing the enchanting sounds of the hammer dulcimer and the hurdy gurdy.

After the mid-time break, its the first time on the UGT stage for Jazz Dukes, who’ll be playing upbeat trad jazz tunes from the 20s and 30s.

The Jazz Dukes are a traditional syle band with a combination of instruments including: Trumpet,Sax/Clarinet,Sousaphone/Double Bass, Banjo/Guitar.  Primarily a Quartet with the occasional addition of Drums and Trombone.

Jazz DukesAs usual, the venue is open from 10am to 4pm for viewing of the current Art exhibition, and the coffee bar (with free wifi from 11.15am – 4pm) is open throughout for purchase of fairtrade refreshments in a friendly and comfortable environment.

As the venue is below ground with regret the venue has no wheelchair access – there is no facility for a lift or an escalator.
