We start the season with the master talents of ‘The Andy Drudy Disorder’.

Seasoned sessions musicians delivering their own sound with flavours of Chris Rea and Dire Straits.

PLUNGER – “A blues guitar EP with no blues guitarist pic? …but then Spark, the new release from The Andy Drudy Disorder is no ordinary blues guitar record: it’s sophisticated, polished, inventive, subversive and unexpected.”

Andy Drudy

Andy has been a professional musician for the last ‘god knows how many years’ including session work and touring, and now specialize in music for TV and film. He studied at GIT Los Angeles in 1982.

Andy plays with Jazz Diva Sue Richardson at many jazz festivals and concerts around the UK & Europe. He also plays in a fab dance/funk/jazz combo B-Hut, and makes plenty of use his newly acquired Coral Sitar Guitar.

Andy has taught at The Brighton Institute of Modern music and has been a contributor to “Total Guitar” magazine, (the biggest selling Guitar mag in the UK).

BLUES BLAST MAGAZINE – “Andy Drudy has shown flexibility by stepping outside the “normal” confines of modern blues-rock with Spark, and his willingness to try new things has paid off in a big way.”

MAXIMUMVOLUMEMUSIC.COM – “….has Pat Travers on it, which basically means that whatever MV writes about it now,
The Disorder have already won…. a fabulous and diverse EP”

The Andy Drudy Disorder will be supported by local folk duo, Milton Hide.

Our strap line is “Folk with a slant” and here’s a short description: “Milton Hide’s songs are often stories about people or places they know. Often uplifting, seldom depressing, sometimes uptempo and sometimes laid back, many original songs and a few surprise covers, Josie and Jim’s voices and playing blend like your favourite smoothie.
