SATURDAY 28TH OCTOBER 201710am – noon.  Venue opens at 9.30am.

Come join us at the Under Ground Theatre for free live Saturday Morning Music – with a welcome return for some rock and roll favourites today – RECYCLED.

The band call themselves “Recycled” because, they say, that sums up both themselves and their repertoire!

All five members of Recycled are over sixty-five and are able to turn their talents to the hits of the fifties and sixties, as well as skiffle and country music. They’ll be taking to the stage at 10am and – if they’re spared! – will play for two hours, apart from a short break.

Numbers will include Roll Over Beethoven, Apache, The Young Ones, Ghost Riders in the Sky and many more 50’s and 60’s favourites.

Like almost all the Saturday performers at the UGT, they play for the sheer fun of it – and last time they had the audience jiving in the aisles.

As usual, the venue is open from 10am to 4pm for viewing of the current Art exhibition, and the coffee bar (with free wifi from 11.15am – 4pm) is open throughout for purchase of fairtrade refreshments in a friendly and comfortable environment.

As the venue is below ground with regret the venue has no wheelchair access – there is no facility for a lift or an escalator.

A Hearing loop is available.
